I am thrilled to announce that my work has been selected for the Women in Arts Network’s latest virtual exhibition, titled “Faces.”

This exhibition is an immersive virtual experience exploring the human face not just as a physical feature, but as a site of emotional truth. The show is divided into virtual rooms that navigate the spectrum of our shared experience.

The Power of Being Seen

For an artist, the "face" is a sacred landscape reflecting the internal state of being. In my own practice, I often explore the "Cycles of Light", the internal seasons where we move between shadow and radiance. To have my work sit alongside such a talented group of international women artists is a powerful reminder of our collective connection.

The piece I am sharing in this exhibition, 'Unbecoming', speaks to the transitional state of shedding old layers of self, so that you can uncover the raw state of existence hidden within.

Step Into the Gallery The exhibition is now live and can be explored from anywhere in the world. I invite you to "walk" through the virtual rooms, pause before the works that speak to you, and perhaps recognize a piece of your own story in the faces looking back at you.

  • Find me in Room 2: I am honored to be featured among an incredible list of creators in the second gallery space.

A Moment of Gratitude Thank you to the Women in Arts Network for providing this platform for female voices. This feature comes at a time of significant transition in my studio, and it feels like the perfect "opening of the gates."

Please feel free to explore the show, share the link with fellow art lovers, and follow @WomenInArtsNetwork on Instagram to see more highlights from the collection.

With light and gratitude,

Marlen
